Bulgarian-Romanian tandem for Euro-Atlantic accession

Bulgaria and Romania are to adopt a tandem formula, and to assist each other in achieving their common priority - accession to the European Union and NATO, Romania's Prime Minister Adrian Nastase said on Tuesday. He made a one-day visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Simeon Saxe-Coburg. Nastase was the first government head to visit Bulgaria since Saxe-Coburg took office. The situation in Southeast Europe was also discussed at the meeting.
