If you're a nature lover, then Cutty Sark's patio is the place for you. Situated at 13 Kiril Vidinski St. (near the Seminaria) the patio is surrounded by a small forest, making it about as outdoors as a place can get.
Named after the Cutty Sark, a famous clipper ship from the 19th century, the bar loosely adheres to a naval theme. A section of trees serves as a giant mast, and sails have been crafted in between to complete the imagery. The Cutty Sark was one of the fastest and best vessels of her time, likewise the bar and patio strives for similar objectives.
The area is extremely well laid out, with a large bar acting as the centre piece for the entire patio. Surrounding the sprawling bar is an ample number of tables, providing enough seating for the busiest of summer nights.
The trees which tower over the tables can't help but prove relaxing, something most desired when heading out for a drink after a long day. The patio is also set back a fair amount from the road, so the street noise which often intrudes on other patios won't be an issue here.
Unfortunately, due to poor weather, I experienced the Cutty Sark on a slower night. This truly was my loss, for its natural environment makes it a perfect summer gathering place. It was a shame to be there on an off night, but the upside was quick and friendly service from the bar staff. I actually got the impression that waiting for drinks would never be much of a concern - even on busy nights - given the number of staff present on what was a slow night.
A slight downside which accompanies the Cutty Sark, however, is that it's a little out of the way. Don't expect to be able to walk freely from pub to pub in this area of the city. Fortunately, its atmosphere is more suited to be a destination point, and not one stop of many. It's also likely that the place fills up on warmer nights - so if you're not in the mood for crowds, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you decide to sample this patio, grab some of your closest friends and prepare to spend the night - you might not want to leave.
Does not pose a threat to life on the planet. The Sun is entering an increasingly violent period of its normal 11-year cycle. This interval of high activity, known as the solar maximum, is expected to peak in 2013.
When Etta James sang Mack Gordon and Harry Warren’s At Last, the dozens of other versions by everyone from Nat 'King' Cole to Beyonce seemed to pale in comparison.

Some scientists described this planet, known as Kepler 22B, as ‘Earth-like’ with a star similar to our sun. About 600 light-years away, Kepler 22B is about 2.4 times the radius of Earth.
