New hunting season opens

The new season for hunting migratory game birds opened on Saturday. Fishing is allowed from October 1 to January 31. Hunters should have written permits showing the date, the names of the hunting party members and its leader, the number of the hunting ticket, and the manner and place of hunting.

Foreign hunters may hunt in groups or individually within the same hunting ground for a period of three to seven days. Foreign hunters are issued tickets only by the directors of state forestry boards, game breeding farms, and forestry farms. A hunter is allowed to kill up to 15 quail and 10 pigeons, turtledoves, woodcocks, and snipes.
