Foreigners to pay medical insurance

Wed, Aug 29 2001 15:00 CET 38 Views

With this decision, the Cabinet amended the rules for implementation of the Public Health Act, under which foreign nationals holding short-term residence permits were required to pay medical insurance as of September.

An interdepartmental expert group from the health, finance, economy, foreign, and interior ministries has until December to familiarize insurance agencies, tour operators, consular services, diplomatic missions and the public with the rules.
