Canadian interns to form Bulgarian lobby

Wed, Aug 29 2001 15:00 CET 48 Views
A third group of young Canadian experts finished their internships in the Bulgarian state administration, under a program organized by the Bulgarian-Canadian Economic Council (BCEC), a nonprofit organization registered in Montreal, and funded by the Canadian Federal Government. The interns already held bachelor or master's degrees and used the program to accumulate experience working abroad. Before coming to Bulgaria, the interns attend a one-month preparatory course which included lessons in Bulgarian. The Canadian experts are expected to form the core of a Bulgarian lobby in Canada in the coming years, said Irina Markova, internship coordinator from BCEC, last Friday.
