Hacker detained for making fake DSK bank website

Web designer Lyubomir K, 27, was detained last Friday by officers from the Intellectual Property Protection department of the National Service for Combatting Organized Crime for creating a fake DSK Bank website.

The website contained erroneous information on interest-free credits. A picture of Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg was also posted onto the site which constitutes a direct assault on the prestige of official state institutions, a press release from the Interior Ministry read.

Files that were downloaded from the official DSK Bank site were detected on the hard disk of the personal computer of the hacker who had also used unlicensed software worth $2,000.
