Bulgarian gymnast wins bronze on ropes

The best Bulgarian gymnast Simona Peycheva won a bronze medal on the ropes in the Grand Prix tournament in gymnastics in Deventer, Holland on Monday, October 1. With only 0.016 ahead of her, was the World and European champion, Russia's Alina Kabaeva. The gold medal was won by Leissan Outiasheva, also from Russia. The other Bulgarian, Elizabeth Paissieva, finished seventh. Peycheva was fourth over the 12 events, and Paissieva was eighth. Alina Kabaeva won the title.
