Radanova breaks own record in 500m speed skating

The double European champion Evgenia Radanova from Bulgaria beat her own record in 500m speed skating by 0.2 seconds on Saturday. This happened in the third round of the world cup competition in Calgary, Canada. The 25-year-old Radanova achieved a time of 43.671 seconds winning the gold. A day earlier Radanova won the silver medal in the 1,500m. In the rankings for the World Cup, the Bulgarian is third and in the rankings for the small cup in 500m she is first. The next and fourth round of the tournament for the World Cup is in Sofia's Winter Palace in the beginning of December.
