Army reform, terrorism, and new global challenges topped the agenda of the meeting between Hungarian Defence Minister Janos Szabo and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passi on Tuesday.

Szabo expressed his country's willingness to share its experience as a NATO member. Experts from the two countries meet on a quarterly basis to exchange expertise, he added. According to him, the tragic events of September 11 may serve to expedite the process of the alliance's enlargement.

The meeting was the last event during Szabo's two-day official visit to Bulgaria made at the invitation of Defence Minister Nikolai Svinarov. On Monday, Szabo conferred with his counterpart and with President Petar Stoyanov.
