Bulgarian wins bronze in world sumo championship

Petar Stoyanov, the captain of the Bulgarian national sumo wrestling team, won the bronze medal last Wednesday in the heaviest category of the world championship in Hirosaki, Japan. The Bulgarian competitor lost in the semifinal to Russia's Yurii Mildzikov.
