On August 4 in Stoyanstroy Hall in Plovdiv is taking place the first table tennis tournament called Stars Tournament. The organiser of the event is Mariano Lukov. Bulgaria's most successful and famous table tennis players have confirmed their participation.
Former and present national competitors such as Konstantin Langerov, Todor Kesov, Ivan Stoyanov, Daniel Kachakov, Stefan Stefanov, Kostadin Parapanov, Grozdan Grozdanov, Kiril Popov, Sasho Ivanov and many others are meeting in this unique tournament.
The qualifications start in 10.00; between 14.00 and 18.00 will be played the amateur games, after which are the finals.
"Right now all the tennis players are on holiday so this tournament is extremely important to us," said Bulgarian champion Todor Kesov at a news conference.
The prize fund of the tournament is 5000 leva.
