An exhibition featuring the copies of famous paintings was opened in Bourgas on August 21.
The idea for the exhibition came from the associate of the Italian copycat artist Daniele Donde, Koicho Belchev, Darik Radio reported.
Belchev was born in Stara Zagora in 1992 but now lives in Switzerland. Darik reported that 26 years ago the Bulgarian became associate of Donde.
Since the beginning of their co-operation the two worked on fine copies of some world-famous masterpieces. Their first painting sold is copy of the work of Salvador Dali, bought by actress Sophia Loren.
The exhibition on display in Bourgas features copies of the work of Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, Paul Gauguin, Clod Monet, Leonardo da Vinci, Renoir, Edgar Degas and others.
Prices of the paintings vary between 500 and 1800 euro, Darik reported.
