Amateur teams from various European countries will take part in the 2007 UEFA Regions' Cup to be held in Bulgaria in the summer of 2007.
The event was the first UEFA championship to be held in Bulgaria, UEFA Youth and Amateur Committee chairman Jim Boyce said.
"The UEFA Regions' Cup is contested every two years by the best regional sides in the competing nations, or by national teams in smaller nations," UEFA's official website said.
This year's edition will involve teams from 37 countries.
Bulgaria's amateur team of coach Angel Stankov qualified for the tournament's final round, Focus Sport agency reported.
Former goalkeeper and Bulgarian Football Union head Borislav Mihailov said that the decision was a great honour.
Bulgaria was going to do everything possible to provide perfect organisation of the event, said Mihailov.
In 2012, the Giants are again the underdogs, after finishing the regular season with a 9-7 record and barely qualifying for the playoffs, compared with the Patriots' 13-3 record.
