Bulgaria will insist in front of the European Union (EU) to apply clear crieria concerning Moldova's union accession, Foreign Minister Ivailo Kalfin said.
Kalfin met his Moldovan counterpart Andrei Stratan on February 5.
Kalfin said that he expected EU and Moldova to agree on more favourable visa regime. A discussion on the issue will be held in February.
On January 1 the government of Moldova decided that Bulgarians could enter the country without visas, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Sratan said that Moldova expected from Bulgaria to share its experience in the EU accession process and give its support so that the country can succeed in its goal to sign an EU association agreement in 2008.
