CAREERS FORUM ENABLES STUDENTS AND EMPLOYERS IN BULGARIA COMMUNICATE

Bulgarian State Administration Minister Nikolai Vassilev launched the sixth edition of Careers 2007 forum on April 2.

The forum will take place in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia as well as in Plovdiv, Rousse, Veliko Turnovo, Stara Zagora and Blagoevgrad.

The main purpose of the event is presenting new opportunities for professional development of students and young specialists and aiding Bulgarian employers find appropriate candidates for vacant job positions.

The state administration will presents itself as an attractive employer at the forum, Focus news agency reported.

The conditions of the Bulgarian Dream programme will be presented at the event. Bulgarian Dream 2007 aims at providing administration internships under various European programmes.

Students will be able to gain experience in the sphere of European financial tools.

According to the requirements for participation in the Bulgarian Dream programme, students have to study in state-owned or private universities in Bulgaria or abroad. They must also have completed their first year of study and must know at least one foreign language and have computer literacy.
