Traditzia Foundation is hosting an Easter Soiree at the Hilton Hotel on April 24 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The event, held in partnership with the Norwegian embassy, will raise funds for 16 social institutions, with the goal of providing training and art therapy for children and disadvantaged members of society.

The current project was implemented in 2006/07 with support from the International Women's Club - Sofia and the Norwegian embassy, along with Traditzia Foundation. By providing art materials and art therapy, developing new products and offering training in a craft, it is hoped that disadvantaged members of society will build self-reliance through the possibility of own economic activity.

In addition, the Easter Soiree, described as a casual event, aims to raise public awareness of vulnerable groups and to promote better understanding of their abilities and needs, which will, in turn, motivating and enabling them to participate actively and fully in Bulgarian society.

The entire project has a budget of 22 245 leva; the fundraising goal of the evening is 6870 leva.

Raffle tickets (20 leva before the event, 25 at the soiree) will make this possible. Prizes include a weekend for two at the Athénée Palace Hilton Hotel in Bucharest, round-trip tickets to Bucharest courtesy of Tarom airlines, a washing machine, a weekend for two at the Yastrebets Hotel and Spa in Borovets, a weekend rental of an Audi Q7, a weekend rental of an Audi A5, numerous services from the Sofia Hilton Hotel, a digital camera, and a gift basket of gourmet products from Dar ot Bogovete.
