5.2 magnitude earthquake shakes central Greece

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake shook central Greece at around 10.27am on December 13, seismologists said.

There have been no reports of injuries or serious damage, according to Associated Press.

The Athens Geodynamic Institute said the epicentre of the earthquake was 10 km south of the city of Lamia, about 135km north-west of Athens.

The earthquake was felt in Athens, Bulgarian daily Dnevnik said.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the earthquake magnitude as 5.2, Associated Press said.
