Plovdiv students unite to discuss problems in university education

Better management of student cafeterias was one of the points that Plovdiv students were going to present to the Government.

Students from five Plovdiv universities and institutes of higher education came together on the evening of February 10 2009 to discuss and formulate their requests and suggestions for a better learning environment in the city. The nine points were directed at the Bulgarian Government, in particular, at the Ministry of Education, a press release said on February 11.

Among the demands issued by students from Plovdiv University Paisii Hilendarski's student union; Plovdiv Medical University; the University for Food Technology – Plovdiv; the Academy for Musical, Dance and Visual Arts; and the European College for Economics and Management were improved living conditions in and renovation of the residence halls, a resolution to the question of land promised for a new Plovdiv University campus, and whether sporting facilities would be constructed at the state society Akademik, given its sale, or, instead, in the centre of the city.

Students also said that they wanted their schools' cafeterias to be under the management of a single Plovdiv-based company, and not as it was at present – under the management of a Sofia-based firm. Modernisation of laboratories, increasing degree programme offerings at the Medical University and encouragement of research activities were among the other issues that needed to be worked on.

A request for increased financial support was put forth by students from the University for Food Technology, as was an overall change to the ordinance on determining the maximum amount of scholarships and awards that a student can receive.

Hi everyone !

First sorry for my English ;o) Im a French girl, my name is Eva, I live in the beautiful city Strasbourg in France.

Im an artist, a painter : air brush, oil painting for big borders and spindle-tree, ink and pastels for normal and small borders.

I wish to live with my paintings and use internet to sell them.

Im very enthusiastic, energic, I work hard when I have to but Im realistic too.
I know that the big money wont come alone in the first month.
But Im cool with that ! I LOVE what I do and for me thats life : Love what you do and do what you Love. Right ?

The thing is I definitely dont want to sell digital products like weight managment, diet, muscle building, games, music, etc .
I ONLY want to sell painting and drawing products, voil.

I know that those products are not in great demands but I dont care and the good thing is I wont have as much competition with a Loose 10 pounds in 2 weeks product.

In practice, Im a newbie, but in theory Im well informed. Ive read a lot and learned what I could alone. I have to admit that a few things are still confused like Bookmarking, Podcasting, Directories etc and I hope that you will help me with that ;o)

My brother, who is the best one to digitize my work its very hard to digitize big borders- is in vacation for a few weeks so I cannot put my work on the net before the end of august.

So my plan is to start slowly

Oh yeah, I forget to say that I'm not bad with videos making. That's why I choosed to stay focus on Youtube (to start) at this moment.

Dont make me wrong, I want to have big money, to have a cumfortable life, sure. But I prefer to earn less money by selling products I love (paintings) instead of earn really HUGE money with products I just dont care !

I know, I speak a lot, blablabla lol, but you know, French women speak so much !!! hihi

Im very excited, I want to start know and I hope we could discuss together !
