Serbia will never recognize an independent Kosovo - Tadić

Sat, Feb 14 2009 16:24 CET 2006 Views 10 Comments
Serbia will never recognize an independent Kosovo, Serbian media quoted Serbian president Boris Tadić as saying.

Speaking at a Serbian military exercise in Novi Sad, Tadić said Serbia would remain committed to defending its rights to its own territory, using legal and diplomatic means instead of force.

"Serbia will never recognize Kosovo's independence and, respecting international law, its own legitimate interests, its integrity in Kosovo, will defend in the legal arena, in front of the International Court of Justice.," Serbian broadcaster B92 quoted Tadić as saying.

Tadić's statements come only three days before the first anniversary of Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence.

Tadić said; "it is clear to all that Kosovo is no state. To our fellow citizens in Kosovo, we are sending a message that their state is taking care of them and their interests."

"Serbia is not a threat to anyone, but a partner and friend, a pillar of regional stability and security, and a democratic European country. Serbia is defending her interests solely by peaceful means and that is a policy we will pursue in the future as well," B92 quoted Tadić as saying.

Tadić added that European Union membership was a strategic goal for the country. He said Serbia has to cooperate with The Hague Tribunal, "because that is at present the only political condition for EU membership."

The supporters of an independance kosovo did all which was right from the beggining to create a state in a quick manner using all forms of weapons, begginging with lobbies to media to politics then to the use of the heaviest weaponry apart from the atomic and nuclear bombs.

They created a state by brainwashing via media, changing and violating all means of international law, gaining support of the islamic and catholic world through false information, and continuoulsy sending this information were it counts, the men and women living beside us, who have the power indirectly because there vote is what counts in many countries.

What was not planned though, every man and women has a brain and the average brain understands what he has seen, when the brain has seen two things related to one topic the seem to wonder, when they seem to wonder and do not know, they wish to find out more, eventually this leads to people being tricked, and when a man is tricked he wants change.

That is the part of the plan these supporters were never able to establish, and slowly but surely, all that we see around is will change, hopefully for the better, but unfortunatly for the worse for many people only because of the misleading information behind many games played using the average human.

This may seem irrelevant to many what i am saying, but i dont wish to open my mind fully, but at the same time explaining that Kosovo is Serbian and that it will be given its right back to rule upon that land which is legally and morally Serbian.

Time, time, time! the longer we wait the more people will be hurt and the less we wait the quicker we can help those people... Its important the world reacts quick, before more people loose there lives and more lies are being said that will eventually have to be fixed..

My fellow humans, do no be disillusioned and mislead, do not believe in what your hearing and whats been said.. Kosovo will always belong to Serbia, ALWAYS..

I am very curious about the economic future of KOSOVO.And also the MONTENEGRO future as well.
Synergies between the three regions would have been beneficial to the region. VOIVODINA is a perfect example of a multicultural life. Independant KOSOVO is a guarantee for "non evolution" while CRNA GORA is already the property of Russia. What a mess! I support Tadic "real politik". He realizes where dangers are.I believe Serbia will play a significant role in the region.

Kosovo and metohija my friends is not only legally serbian, it is serbia. As our times change so does the demographic picture of the world. France, spain and the Uk have a large if not greater percentage of muslims living in there country , who respect and live by there laws, who have found there place and who have there rights. Those same rights are enjoyed by the bosniak community in the sandjak region and the albanian community in the presevo bujanovac and medvedje valley. They teach there own langauge and religion and in actual facts enjoy higher rights then there fellow believers in the WEST. Kosovo is serbian. Like it or not, its a fact. Always has been.!

Who ever asked you to recognise.
Being recognised by the most civilised and economically advanced countries in the World the last thing it would be for us te ask Primitive middle age country like Serbia to recognise us.
I mean no one want to ive with Serbs, not even their brothers Montenegrins.

Technically, I believe that Joe is correct and that Kosovo has broken the terms of the UN Charter with its declaration. Srbia is correct in pursuing diplomatic and legal means, but whether this will actually change anything may be ddoubtful. In time, other countries may still recognise Kosovo irrespective of this. UN does not apply its own sanctions. Look at Isreal - never retruned to 1968 borders.
