Logistica Universal in Sofia will be completed by November 2009

Logistica Universal, an expansive multi functional building, is due for completion by November 2009. The building, which lies at the entrance to Sofia on the Trakia motorway before the junction with the Sofia Circular Road, houses stores, offices, an administrative centre and spacious parking lots.

The main investment for Logistica Universal was secured by private capital and credit released by a Bulgarian-American bank. The company behind it, Universal Properties, is an investment enterprise listed on the Bulgarian stock exchange since 2006. It invests mainly in construction – residential, freight, logistical and administrative centres.

Logistoca Universal consists of a 69 000 sq m parcel of land and faces Trakia motorway along a 350m stretch. The main investor in the large facility is Universal Properties ADCIS.

The logistical complex consists of four spacious buildings that incorporate space for warehouses, office buildings, stores, administrative centres, freight distribution processing and distribution. The warehouses are 26 000 sq m in area. The administrative centre is on two storeys, 7500 sq m in area, while on the sub-level additional warehouses will be built.

The ground level will boast a 800 sq m bank branch, and on top of it there will be further office space. There will be more than 500 parking places - 400 for staff and 100 for visitors. In addition, there will be an auxiliary parking lot with capacity for 60 lorries.

The entire facility will be under constant CCTV surveillance. The safety of the complex will be enhanced further by round the clock security. The facility will also be subjected to constant customs surveillance.
