Bulgaria's second largest mobile operator announced it would enter the broadband internet market with a new service called BizNet.

BizNet would offer guaranteed download speeds of up to 50 Mbps for national traffic and up to 10 Mbps for international traffic, without traffic limits, a company media statement released on March 9 2009 said.

Subscription was planned to start at 45 leva a month and would initially only be offered to Globul's business clients. The service would be offered to residential clients in the near future, the company's media statement said.

Globul said it planned to provide the new service in co-operation with internet providers Spectrum Net and Net1.

The service would be rolled out nationwide, although no starting date was given.
