Tevez, Ronaldo departure to give Berbatov chance to shine

Ronaldo is ready to draw the curtain on his career at United, but will Berbatov be enough to fill the void?

The saga around where Cristiano Ronaldo will play next season has resurfaced again and this time his departure seems imminent. Alex Ferguson will have to contemplate a future for United without Ronaldo and, possibly, Carloz Tevez next season and this has come at the worst possible timing - in the midst of the club's march on five fronts.

Should those two players depart, additional responsibilities will befall to yet another United player - Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov. He will finally have the opportunity to prove club, manager and supporters whether he can cut it at top level and if he was worth the 30-plus million pounds United paid for his services at the beginning of the season.

Tevez has repeatedly stated that he wished to remain at Old Trafford past the expiration of his "loan" arrangement, which ends on June 30. He is disillusioned with the club's reluctance to offer him a solid and permanent deal however and their insistence on procrastinating the matter until the last possible moment.

Meanwhile, the Argentinian striker has no shortage of suitors and he has already received concrete offers from other European heavy-weights, among them Real Madrid, Inter and Juventus in Europe and Chelsea and Manchester City in England, The Times of London has reported.

Most of Tevez' frustration is tied in with Berbatov and Alex Ferguson's decision to favour the Bulgarian over the Argentine. According to Tevez, Berbatov was far from fully match fit, yet he was chosen in the starting 11 against Porto in the Champions League on April 15, while Tevez was being effectively relegated as a fourth choice striker behind Ronaldo, Rooney, and Berbatov.

Discussions between David Gill, the United chief executive, and Kia Joorabchian, the head of the company that owns Tevez' "economic rights", began earlier this season, but the two sides have never been close to an agreement. Joorabchian is reportedly looking for a transfer fee on par with what United paid for Berbatov, but with Tevez playing a reduced role this season, the United hierarchy predictably baulked at the price.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, is another hot potato and his transfer could well be resolved before the upcoming elections at Real Madrid, scheduled for June 14, where Madrid's former president Florentino Perez will be eager to secure the winger's services for the club and enhance his credentials as the club's saviour.

Ronaldo was denied his "dream move" to Real by Ferguson last summer, but he and his agent, Jorge Mendes, believe that Ferguson will not intervene should the opportunity to move to Madrid presents itself again this year, reports in England over the past month have claimed.

1) Ronaldo is clearly not happy in MU. Although he officially say FOR NOW he is happy in MU, but he always conclude transfer speculation with the sentence, "Nobody knows the future" or "Maybe.. maybe"

2) Ronaldo's is no longer smiling as he did before. Ronaldo is no longer running as fast as he did before. Ronaldo is no longer interested to dribble pass players. Ronaldo is no longer interested to show off his skills. He is not passionate playing for MU as before. You can see this in his face in every MU match

3) He opened a fashion shop in Real Madrid. Why not in MU? U have 2 understand, everybody has a dream. His childhood dream is to play for Real Madrid. He has achieved what he has wanted in MU. It is time for him 2 move on. But Alex doesn't want 2 let me go?. Why? Take a look at the Top Scorer sheet in premier league 09. Even though Ronaldo is playing without passion & interest, Ronaldo is unbelievably still the top scorer along with Anelka.

4) Imagine your dream is to be a singer in the U.S. along Mariah Carey, Gwen and the rest and all the U.S. record companies are desperate to sign you, but your dad only allows you to sing in U.K.
How would you feel?

5) Why Real Madrid? This is where MOST Fifa World Player of The year has played historically for the past 15 years. The problem with British people is that they view Ronaldo's technique as tricks or one trick pony. But the rest of the world view his technique as skills. Have u heard any of the British editors, commentors, or journalist mentioned his skills like Rabona, Elastico, Flip Flap, Hocus Pocus, Roulette,Bullet shot,Halfway line shot or Nutmeg ? None. They only mention the word TRICKS. Those are top-notch skills and ball control. Not tricks.

These are what FIFA World player of the year like Zidane, Ronaldinho, Brazilian Ronaldo, and Luis Figo does. They are world player of the year because of these techniques other than scoring goals skills. This is where one of the problems Ronaldo is facing. They people in British are more straightforward. They enjoy goals, scrappy goals and long ball rather than beautiful football. In other words, the beauty of Ronaldo's skills and technique are less appreciated here. He has achieved all he has at MU. Hence, it is normal for him to move on.

6) Lastly, the reason broadcasting companies choose Premier League for the past 30 years in other countries is because MOST people still speak and understand English compare to other languages. If u broadcast La Liga or Brazilian League in Thailand, India, Holland, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Russia, Kenya, Japan, Germany, Korea, Italy, or France, the people do not understand Spanish or Brazilian. Translation are needed for commentators & it so obviously ODD to broadcast spanish or brazil channels out of nowwhere, when all the while MOST countries choose to broatcast their local languages AND english content language as the standard foreign entertaintment channels. Yes, Premier League is CURRENTLY the best football league, but all the while EVEN before THERE WAS ANY Fifa World Player of the Year playing in Premier League, even before any 3 english clubs are in Champions League semifinals for the 3rd time and even before Ruud Gullit became the manager for Chelsea, most foreign broadcasting companies have already chosen the Premier League for many years as the standard weekin weekout football channels in their respective countries. Why? Everybody understand English, it convenient commercially and the passion English fans shows.

They shoudl sell berbatov waste of £30m, sell tevez has not done anything this season to make united want to buy him he was virtually missing in teh semi final i wouldnt pay £32m for him either, ronaldo should stay at united because real madrid are getting worse, i think united need to buy a strong front man with pace kind of liek toress i was thinking Karim Benzema is one option who would be perfect. Our problems lie in our strikers because we have no one who attacks the ball berbatov is struggling to run up for the ball, tevez is too busy defending and rooney is doing same thing so who gona score the goals up front, cant keep relying on ronaldo everytime.

Ronaldo is making a big mistake going to Madrid. First of all why would you leave the best team in the world to join a team that just got hammered by Liverpool. He will disapear from the spotlight once he goes there and lets face it one person is not gonna turn Real Madrid into what they were a few years back. If he was to move, I would be thrilled if he went to Barcelona with Messi, Henry and more. his gonna wreck his career by moving to Real. I personally think the best player in the world should stay in the best team in the world.

If Ronaldo went to Real he will going be an average player because of the team unpouparities for past three year and get badly beaten by Liver pool in Champions League. so caomon Ronaldo stay in Manu and teves too.

If Ronaldo moves to Real,he will lose all his global picture and am quite sure his name will be erased from the page of soccer. May be seen only sexy pictures magazine, if at all girls keep on loving him for time being. Man U is the the right place for him to outsamrr and shine.
