Depeche Mode have definitively cancelled their Sofia gig, concert agency Sofia Music Enterprises (SME) said on June 12.
The band have announced that fans should 'hold on to their tickets' as details are being arranged for all cancelled shows to be played
After cancelling Athens, the band has abandoned their show in Turkey as well. Sofia show is scheduled for May 18.
"Enjoy the silence" would not be an appropriate wish to extend to all Depeche Mode fans in Bulgaria on Monday May 18 2009, when the band is coming for their second gig in Sofia, as stated on their website. Bulgaria is a stop of their European Tour of the Universe 2009. To accommodate the Depeche Mode hysteria, organisers have reserved the national stadium Vassil Levski.
