Veliko Turnovo - Gabrovo road renovation works on final stretch

The road section linking Veliko Turnovo to Gabrovo through Dryanovo, now undergoing a major overhaul, is to be completed by the end of June, the National Road Infrastructure Agency said in a statement following a project assessment meeting on May 26.

Officials from Putstroi, the firm picked to carry out all renovation and reconstruction works along the road sector, said that progress was according to schedule and that there would be no delays before the June 30 deadline.

The rehabilitation of the road section Veliko Turnovo – Dryanovo – Gabrovo started in 2006.
