Faith No More will headline the Spirit of Bourgas festival on August 14, in a bill that will also include Panican Whyasker, Dreadzone, LTJ Bukem feat, Mc Conrad, Sub Focus, Cooh, Mocks, Ogonek and Konspirator at the main stage.

Meanwhile, the Jack Daniels stage will feature Breakpoint, Bernays Propaganda, Elvis Jackson, As Soon As Possible, Odd Crew and Babyface Clan also on August 14. For more comprehensive information and the full programme, visit www.spiritofburgas.com/

Faith No More are best known for combining elements of heavy metal, funk, progressive rock, hip hop, hardcore punk, thrash metal, and jazz, amongst other styles, and have been hailed as an influential rock band, especially in during their heyday in the 1990s. The band has also accumulated a substantial fan base in Bulgaria.

On February 18 2009, it was announced that Jim Martin would not be participating in the Faith No More reunion tour, and then on February 24 2009, Faith No More announced they would be re-forming with a line-up identical to the Album of the Year era. On March 2 2009, it was confirmed that Faith No More would be headlining the Main Stage on June 12 at the Download Festival at Donington, England. The band will arrive with the same line-up in Bulgaria as well.

Spirit of Bourgas will be held on August 14, 15 and 16, at the central beach and its adjacent Sea Garden. In 2008, most of the international visitors were from Poland, Romania, Greece and Turkey.

In 2009, the three-day festival will feature all together six stages, main stage, dance arena, three concert arena and a secondary DJ stage. The new development will be the  incorporated camp site within the festival, exclusively for Spirit of Bourgas. The organisers promise "a 24 hour party".

Bourgas central beach closed for MTV festival
