Dutch choir Slavuj, which specializes in Slavic folk-songs, is to perform for the first time in Sofia on October 24 2009. At the concert, to be held at the crypt of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, Slavuj will perform together with Bulgarian chamber ensamble Te Deum.

The 22-strong choir is conducted by Ivo Boswijk, who is also conductor of the Čubrica choir.

The concert in Sofia is part of the choir's first Bulgarian tour, which is to take place between October 17 and 25 2009.
