Old-school rappers Public Enemy, one of the most influential acts in the history of hip hop, will perform in Sofia's Hristo Botev hall on October 27, organisers Stroeja said on September 3.

The band is known for its social commentary and politically-charged lyrics, which pushed it to prominence on the East Coast of the US in the 1980s and early 1990s, although the five albums released since He Got Game in 1998 have not been as critically acclaimed as the group's earlier work.

Tickets for the gig will go on sale on September 6, priced at 40 leva and rising to 45 leva in the last week before the show and 50 leva the day of the gig. Tickets are available at Stroeja night club, Office 1 Superstore, Technomarket, M-tel and Na Tumno stores, as well as online at ticketstream.bg.
