BraZZoBraZZie, the first ever festival dedicated to brass music in Bulgaria, takes place from February 10 to February 12 at Sofia Live Club.

A total of 60 musicians will take part in the festival that will encompass a wide range of musical genres – dixie, swing, jazz standards, funk, Latin and fusion. There will be three concerts each night followed by a jam session.

The festival will hopefully promote brass music, show its variety and beauty and help revive the tradition of the urban brass orchestra which was a very popular kind of urban culture years ago.

The Mihail Yossifov sextet, an ever popular group at Sofia Live Club and other venues, will feature prominently in the festival.

Doors will open at 8pm each evening and the concert itself will begin at 9pm. Tickets are already on sale at 15 leva for one night and 35 leva for the whole festival. They can be bought via Eventim, Ticketstream & Ticket plus networks. They will also be on sale at Sofia Live Club during the festival.

The full programme is as follows:

Friday February 10
