Francisco Jose Arcangel Ramos "Arcangel" is expected to promote his new album Quijote de Los Suenos on February 3 in Sofia accompanied by Miguel Angel Cortes on guitar and Agustin Diassera (percussions).

The 35-year-old singer is a new Flamenco rising star with profound knowledge of traditional flamenco, respect for the genre's musical roots and continued interest in innovations and defining his art. In his recent album, he suggests an imaginary journey along two riverbanks: between tradition and avantgarde. In his untiring quest for new nuances, the singer shows his rebellious, outside-of-the-box frame of mind along with his traditional views, inherited from his ancestors.

Though young, Arcangel has a long record of achievements. He first caught the eye of critics and the general public alike at the 10th Seville Biennial in 1988, becoming a sought after performer and working with such flamenco dancers as Eva La Yerbabuena and Israel Galvan, Cristina Hoyos and Javier Baron.

Friday's concert starts at 8pm at Sofia Live Club.
