Czech Republic president Vaclav Klaus is visiting Bulgaria on March 27 2012 as the guest of President Rossen Plevneliev.
 
The two heads of state will hold one-on-one talks and there will be plenary talks between the Czech and Bulgarian delegations, according to Plevneliev’s press office.
 
Klaus and Plevneliev are scheduled to hold a joint news conference.
 
The visit by the Czech president also includes talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov and with Tsetska Tsacheva, Speaker of the National Assembly, Bulgaria’s unicameral Parliament.
 
According to Plevneliev’s press office, topics that will be discussed during the Klaus visit include continuing high-level political dialogue, a review of Czech-Bulgarian bilateral relations, opportunities for trade and commercial co-operation and co-operation in culture, science and education.
 
Co-operation within the context of the European Union also would be discussed, as well as the situation in South Eastern Europe, Plevneliev’s office said.
