Poland's party leaders in war of words over secret CIA jail claims

A bitter war of words has erupted among Poland’s opposition party leaders over claims the CIA ran a secret prison in Poland where terrorism suspects were allegedly tortured.

Amid renewed controversy over the CIA’s alleged detention of Al-Qaeda suspects in Poland in 2002-2003, Janusz Palikot, the outspoken head of the Palikot Movement, called on Leszek Miller, head of the left-wing SLD opposition party, to give up his parliamentary immunity and withdraw from politics.
