Poland will amend law to guarantee purchase price for renewables

Poland will assure reception of power generated from wind turbines at a determined price, according to a new bill on renewable energy, Janusz Pilitowski, head of a recently established department for renewables at Poland's Economy Ministry said at a conference in Warsaw on Wednesday.

The new law, which takes into account some of postulates raised during consultations process, will require a designated vendor to purchase energy from renewable sources at a guaranteed floor price.
