Bulgarian State Agency for Youth and Sports had organised 5 educational seminars on the new opportunities and responsibilities of young people in the EU, representatives of the agency said.
The seminars had been financed through the Communications strategy for the accession of Bulgaria to the EU, Bulgarian News Agency BTA reported.
Over 200 youth representatives of non-governmental organisations from all over the country took part in the seminars.
They were informed on the prospects of the euro funds and on EU structures, and discussed in detail the Youth in action 2007-2013 European programme, which is part of the work of the European Youth Programmes and Initiatives national centre.
The organisations that had taken part in the seminars had handed in 60 projects, which could be considered a good result of the work of the State Agency for Youth and Sports experts, sports website sport1.bg commented.
