AGRO FINANCE
Agro Finance, an agricultural land-security society, has a new executive director in Dessislava Yordanova. Before taking up the post, she served in positions like capital markets director at Expat Capital and corporate finance director at TBI Invest. From 2004 to April 2007, she was director of TBI Consulting. Yordanova has a master’s in economics with a specialisation in finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. As of 2004, she is a chartered financial analyst.
TBI ASSET MANAGEMENT
The new financial director of TBI Asset Management is Eleonora Stoeva. She has been with the company since 2005, when she came on as head accountant of TBI Consulting, later taking the position of head accountant of TBI Asset Management. Since October 2007, she has also been head accountant of TBI Invest. Complementing her wealth of experience in the financial sector is a degree from the University of National and World Economy.
OVERGAS INC
Alexander Levashki has taken over responsibilities as deputy administrative director of business development at gas distribution company Overgas Inc. With Overgas from since 1995, his positions there transformed from head of the designer team to vice-president of Overgas Engineering. In 2002 he moved to Gastec BG, a branch of Overgas, as its executive director. Levashki has a master’s in hydraulics and pneumatics from the Technical University in Sofia, along with having completed numerous other training and qualification programmes.
GASTEC BG
Deyan Popov will replace Alexander Levashki as executive director of Gastec BG. He has been with Overgas Inc since 2003, first as a specialist for systems control and direction of gas distribution networks, and later as director of dispatcher management, where he led the project to create a national dispatcher network. Popov, a gas and petrol engineer by education, comes to Gastec from Sofiagas. He also has a master’s in industrial management.
PRESIDENCY
Named by President Georgi Purvanov as the new secretary of interior policy and security is Goran Yonov. The University of National and World Economy graduate in international economic relations comes to the post having under his belt a CV including service in the ministry of internal commerce; a career in diplomacy, which included being an advisor at the Bulgarian embassy in London and, in 2004, being sent as ambassador to Sweden; a management position in the international organisations department of the Interior Ministry; and deputy foreign minister. Yonov also co-operates with and has had works published by the Ivan Bashev Institute for Foreign Policies.
