The Bansko international jazz festival will travel around the country for the first time in its history.
Blues, gospel and jazz signer Janis Harrington and the Dutch nu jazz band Praful will stage concerts in Sofia, Plovdiv and the Golden Sands resort.
Festival organisers wanted to help more people get in touch with the music which attracts thousands of people to Bansko every year, avtora.com reported.
Prafuls concert will please nu-jazz, electronica, down-tempo and world music fans. The bands lead singer will be Mirta Junco, who is of Cuban origin and is among the most prominent European Latino jazz performers.
The jazz fest in Bansko will bring together musicians from 16 counties and 36 nationalities.
