Belgian chocolate company Belcolade celebrated its 20 years of existence with a special Belle Epoque party at the Belgian Residence in Sofia on May 23. Ambassador Philippe Beke presided over the fete, which drew more than 250 guests. Among those present were Francis D’Hoore, Belcolade group channel director (pictured upper photo centre), Ciprian Giuroiu, Eastern Europe regional manager, and famed Belgian chocolatier Philippe Lafont. Belcolade’s products, aimed at professional chocolatiers, have been available on the Bulgarian market since 1988 via Puratos Bulgaria, based in Pernik. Since it was founded in 1988 in Erembodegem, Belgium, Belcolade has expanded its market to 120 countries around the world.
