Manchester Citys striker from Bulgaria Valeri Bojinov has become the second Bulgarian in the Premiership to get injured in a match.
Bojinov was injured in the city derby against Manchester United on August 19 2007, Focus news agency reported.
Medics had to carry him off field as soon as the sixth minute.
A few days earlier, Tottenhams Dimitar Berbatov was injured and was scheduled to undergo at least a two-week treatment.
Bojinov was supposed to replace Berbatov in the match of Bulgarias national team against Wales on August 22 2007.
