On the Russian market, Bulgarian wine has replace Moldovan wine and Russian vodka has made way for foreign brands, Russian daily Novie Izvestia said.
Bulgaria is the largest exporter for wine on the Russian market with a market-share of around 30%.
Russia has enlarged its import of wine and other alcohol spirits from Bulgaria in the first seven months of 2007 with 70% year-on-year, a report released by the Russian National Alcohol Association said.
Bulgarian wine's reasonable price makes it a favourite with buyers.
Second favourite is French wine, mainly because of its higher price, followed by Spanish wines.
