For the third consecutive time, Bulgaria will take part in the JATA WTF Tokyo international tourism exhibition being held this year from September 14 to September 16.

JATA WTF is the largest tourism exhibition in Japan. The event has been organised by the Japanese association of tourism agencies, Focus news agency reported.

The 2006 JATA WTF featured 770 exhibitors from 131 countries. Nearly 106 000 people visited the event, including 38 000 professionals from the tourism business.

Bulgaria's presentation covers 36 sq m floor space at the exhibition, and includes Bulgarian wine and yoghurt tasting.

The JATA World Tourism congress will take part at the same time as the exhibition. The congress will include seminars on trends in the Japanese tourism market. More than 17 Japanese tour operators offer Japanese tourists trips to Bulgaria. Trips vary from tours around Bulgarian monasteries and the valley of Thracian kings, to eco-tourism.
