Bulgarias economic activity factor increased by 2.5 per cent since the beginning of the year, to reach 65 per cent, Labour and Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova told International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission head to Bulgaria Robert Hagemann.
IMF representatives discussed with Maslarova the implementation of an agreement between the fund and the Cabinet, as well as budget 2007.
Bulgaria experienced positive labour market developments, IMF representatives said.
Maslarova presented plans for wage and pension increases starting January 1 2007, a Council of Ministers press release said.
Among the changes to be introduced was the inclusion of overtime payments in the main wage, Maslarova said. Flexible working hours were also examined as an option, said she.
