The inflation for 2007 reached 12.5 per cent, while annual average inflation was 8.4 per cent, Bulgarian National Statistics Institute (NSI) announced on January 14.
Inflation in December was 1.1 per cent, NSI said.
Food prices increased 1.9 per cent in December compared to the month before, while transport, restaurant and hotel prices increased by 1.3 per cent over the same period.
