
National policies concerning the currency board will remain unchanged, Economy Minister Roumen Ovcharov said during a World Bank forum in Sofia. The forum will discuss the economic memorandum the bank drafted for Bulgaria.
The report mentions Bulgaria has achieved significant economic development. Some of the key factors behind this growth are macroeconomic stability and structural reforms.
Most ministries and the Bulgarian National Bank participated in the drafting of the report, aimed at evaluating Bulgaria's economic growth and EU accession efforts, the Bulgarian National Radio reported.
The discussions in Sofia will focus on three main topics among which improving Bulgaria's labour market, developing the transport infrastructure, the trade and investment opportunities and upgrading the legal system.
