In some regions in south-western Bulgaria, this years grape crop has been decreased greatly.
Wine producer Kosta Kostov said that the harvest this year was very poor.
This year, the grape yield has been 70 per cent lower than Bulgarias average in some regions of the country, Kostov said.
The wine producer attributed the poor crops to this summers drought and hail storms in the region of Katuntsi, Petrovo and Lehovo, Focus news agency said.
According to Kostov, the main sort of grapes produced in these regions are Cabernet, Merlot and Melnik.
