Investments in construction in Bulgaria are valued at some 2.3 - 2.6 billion euro or one-third of all investments in the country.
This was one of the conclusions of a research by analysts from Industry Watch.
Approved construction for the past year had a total buildup area of 12.4 million sq m, of which 60 per cent was for housing, ipo.bg said.
One-third of construction companies taking part in the research said that they spent between five and 15 per cent of their expenses on overcoming administrative obstacles.
Almost all companies said the slow pace of service was one of the serious shortcomings of the public services, ipo.bg quotes Industry Watch as saying.
