Cacciamali, Europe's biggest bus body producer, would assemble buses in Bulgaria's town of Panagyurishte, Darik Radio reported.
Cacciamali would contract a Bulgarian partner for the construction, Darik said.
The bus construction would begin in four months. Italian engines and chassis would be used for the buses, Darik said.
Investment would reach three million euro. It would use the existing base of Panagyurishte bus building company that stopped working 17 years ago, Darik said.
In the beginning, the company would employ 80 people, but the number of workers is expected to rise to 500.
Buses, put together in Bulgaria, would be cheaper than the imported ones by 25 to 30 per cent, Darik said.
