The first 16 students of the master's programme Information Systems at Stevens Institute of Technology will receive their diploma on October 30.
The institute was one of the oldest private technological educational systems in the US, BTA quoted the American Embassy in Sofia as saying.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) had refused to fund the programme. The project was realised with a combined team with teachers from Stevens Institute of Technology and Sofia University between January 2006 and July 2007.
The students would receive their diploma from Jerry Luftman, dean of the School of Technical Management at Stevens Institute of Technology.
American Deputy Chief of Mission to Bulgaria Alexander Karagiannis would deliver a speech.
