Simeon Saxe-Coburg, leader of National Movement for Stability and Progress (NMSP) said that he had lost trust in some of the movements members.
A number of people tried to take over, which made Saxe-Coburg stop trusting them, an official statement published at NMSPs website said.
Recently, some NMSP members said that a national party summit was manipulated. The statements led to debates and turbulence within the formation.
Saxe-Coburg said that the summit was needed to deal with the situation that resulted from the recent members of European Parliament (MEP) elections. Changes were needed and a congress was the only way to discuss such.
During the congress, party members showed full support for the suggested changes, Saxe-Cobur said. After the summit, however, some people made unacceptable statements. NMSP was going to seek responsibility for the speculations and manipulations.
What happened changed the initial plans with which the party was set up, Saxe-Coburg said. He said that he was considering radical measures and urgent decisions.
