France would ratify Bulgaria's EU accession treaty in the needed time period, European Integration Minister Meglena Kouneva was told during her visit to France.
France supports Bulgaria's EU membership, but the country has to continue implementing reforms, the Bulgarian National Radio reported. Kouneva presented all Bulgarian developments related to the EU accession.
Other topics of discussion during Kouneva's visit included the European Constitution, the future of the EU and the European financial framework for the period between 2007 and 2013. The trial of the five Bulgarian nurses in Libya was also examined.
