Bulgarias ING Life Insurance opened a life insurance agency in Plovdiv. The branch is called Trimontium Agency and is located on 15 Rayko Daskalov Street. The branch will be managed by Antoaneta Dangalova.
The start of the life insurance operations is part of the companys strategy to open 12 offices countrywide by end-2006. The opening of INGs Plovdiv branch was celebrated with a reception at the Trimontium Princess Hotel in Plovdiv on October 31. The reception was hosted by ING senior executive manager Nikolai Staikov.
ING entered Bulgaria in 1994 with the opening of the ING Bank branch in Sofia. As of 2001, the financial group has also been offering pension insurance services at its three funds that manage over 200 corporate and 260 000 individual pension accounts. In the beginning of 2006, the group announced its plans to develop life insurance.
