Starting today the second issue of Bulgaria's first specialised English-language property magazine PropertyWise is available for purchase.

While the first issue focused on agricultural land, mall construction and the setting up of business parks, the second one will examine in detail the development of Bulgaria's winter resorts.

Analysts said that winter season 2006-2007 will be determining for the future of Bulgaria's leading ski resorts. Whether they will cope with the increasing investor interest or suffer from over-construction and infrastructure problems will become clear in the beginning of next year.

PropertyWise's second issue takes a deep look at the condition of leading winter resorts like Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo.

Some say, Buy Bansko. Others wonder whether its rival-to-be, Super-Borovets will ever happen.

Anticipation is building up around Pamporovo, though uncertainties remain. At least 10 other ski resorts float in public space. Environmentalists are calling foul. PropertyWise tries to sort out the tune amidst this cacophony of voices.
